Smart Lipo is the first FDA approved laser lipolysis device. Smart Lipo is designed to not only destroy fat cells, but also coagulate tissue with a laser to tighten skin. So unlike traditional liposuction, you can get skin tightening together with fat destruction, potentially leading to an overall better appearance. The laser coagulates blood vessels, so compared to traditional liposuction, there is less bruising and swelling, so you recover more quickly. It has been termed 'Laser Body Sculpting', because of the delicate results unavailable with regular liposuction and only found with SmartLipo.
